Marcus Suero
Marcus is a DMV native, born in Washington D.C. and later moved to the Wheaton/Silver Spring area where he attended Newport Mill Middle School and Albert Einstein High School. He played football in his freshman year and joined the Latin Dance Team sophomore through senior years. Marcus attended Montgomery College where he graduated with an Associate’s Degree. He earned a B.S. in History with a minor in Historical Management from Bowie State University.
Marcus’ experience with teens comes from being the Counselor in Training Coordinator for the YMCA National Capital location where he co-developed programs based around leadership, time management, and mentoring. “I’m so excited to be a part of the CDI team,” Marcus said. “Being the first in my family to graduate from college and having to navigate through an unknown college landscape, I very much identify with the mission of CDI in making sure that others don’t have to experience the same.”
When he’s not working, Marcus is usually out taking photographs in the area, at one of the fabulous museums in Washington D.C., or experiencing a new restaurant.
