Tell Your Story With A Video
Help CDI reach new supporters by telling your story
CDI has recently begun featuring Scholar-created videos to help convey the importance of the work we do to our supporters. While statistics and messages from CDI staff are fine, we think that hearing directly from you will make our presentations more powerful and help convince people to support CDI — allowing us to help more students make their college graduation dreams a reality.
So, what do we need you to do?
1. Shoot a video of yourself answering one or two of the nine questions listed below.
2. Click HERE to send us the video and follow the steps shown in the pictures below.
3. There is no step 3!
Why you?
It is very important to hear from you. Your voices and experiences, your hopes and dreams, and your goals and aspirations are all things that CDI is here to support. And who better to tell those stories than you?
The videos only need to be 30 seconds to a minute long (if you want to take more time, feel free). The videos will be featured on the CDI website.
Video tips?
We created a video to explain the project and give you some tips for shooting a good quality video. You can watch the video HERE
If you don’t watch the video, please remember these three key points:
No vertical video! All videos should be shot horizontally.
Try to keep distracting background noise to a minimum.
Have good lighting. Shoot your video outside, near a window, or use a lamp to shine light on your face while you record.
The Questions
Choose one or two of the questions below to answer in your video. If you pick more than one question, you can submit multiple videos.

What was your favorite CDI memory?
